fireworks and tent in the basement

hey hey. so here's a video of the tent we set up in the basement. i just nailed sheets to the ceiling. :) the boys wanted to sleep down there until i mentioned luke's eyes looking like a warlock from The Time Machine. They ran up to their beds and night lights, lickity split! :) Mom and Dad having to sleep on the hard floor? Foiled. ;)

oh, and these are just two pictures from the other day. ;) We went to 2 parks in one day, Owen took a big spill. He was holding a giant bottle of bubbles so he couldn't catch himself when he fell. Poor guy. :( The next day we went to the library to pick out the boys' free books at the library! They each get 3 if they read a certain amount of minutes. Crazy!  i love our library. :)

Fireworks! For the last week we've been hearing fireworks go off at random at all hours of the day and night. We've seen a few neighbors lighting things off here and there. Last night was super fun though! We sat outside and watched all of these fireworks!  The videos don't show you how awesome it really was. They were being shot off all along the horizon on all sides and then our neighbors were letting them go right above our heads!  

Gideon has his binoculars out. :) He told us he was tired and put himself to bed. :) Sweet thing.

 When we picked up the lawnmower the boys waited on these babies! Dave told them that if they save their money they can buy one and have a lawn mowing business. ;) Luke was ALL excited about that. He's charging $20 per yard. ;) They just need to grow a few more inches so their feet reach the pedal.
