Halloween & Class Parties
On Halloween day I volunteered in Gideon's classroom. They played Build a Skeleton dice game. Because they have been studying different soils, they built and ate dirt cups with worms and pudding and oreos and smarties, mmmm! Then they had a donut eating competition. Gideon WON! Last activity was This or That. One question was Would you rather have a homemade costume or store bought? They kids would choose their answer and stand on one side of the room or the other. Most kids chose homemade! I better get sewing for next year. ;) Gideon has a sweet teacher, she has so much patience with them!
Luke cut his hair on accident trying to cut a mosquito in half mid air.
Gideon's Halloween Concert was awesome! I should have recorded every song, but I got these two!
This is his buddy Rafael.
Halloween Night!
Owen carved up some of our homegrown pumpkins! Pretzel ate the seeds all up.
Owen wanted to stay home with dad and hand out candy. I took Chewbacca and Ironman around our Bishop's neighborhood. We walked two streets and called it a night!
Some of the houses had really creepy decorations. Gid didn't even want to collect treats from those houses! Luke was brave and entered. Was the candy worth it? :)
Gideon is the first one up most mornings. He brings his squishmallow out and tucks him in on the couch. :) Gid had his 8-year old check up earlier this week. I asked the doctor if he could start sitting in the front seat and it was a yes! You have to be 8 years old or 80" tall. :)
