Monsoon, butterbraids, & shoe laces

We finally got a few days of monsoon rain!! We had a pool in the back & front yard! The boys went out before school to enjoy the cooler weather. They hing out in the ramada & apparently all the bugs & mini snails had the same idea. Yiche. "We're under water!"

Luke sold butterbraids for a band fundraiser. 8th grade is going to Disneyland at the end of the school year! We're not sure of the cost yet or if I'll be going or Dave, but it's something to look forward to! And the streusels are delicious!

Dave taught Owen how to play speed. Then Owen taught Gid how to play. Dave always wins, but Owen just keeps coming back for more! Now Gid just needs to teach me how to sit up that straight & tall. 

Gideon not only learned how to tie his shoes, he learned how to tie a double knot. Boom!

Owen has been in drawing mode too! He spent a lot of time on his iguana illustration & how cool is that wolf?
