Vertuccios with Owen & Grandma Melly

  Grandma was doing some shopping close to our house tonight and wanted to see the kids.

Anyway! Owen was the only one who wanted to visit Vertuccios, so it was a fun little one on one time with our middle guy. :) I should say Luke wanted to go too, but Gideon really wanted him to stay home so they could play football together. I think the boys were all worn out from the San Diego trip the day before, so we'll get them to the farm next time.

Owen loves this little donkey. It remembered him from last year. As soon as the donkey heard Owen say hello she wandered over to the fence and rested her head in his arms. :) Adorable! Owen wants to live on a farm so so bad. We think the donkey is pregnant, so we'll keep an eye out for a baby soon!

Replace animals with "children" and you're not too far off.

 We snagged some shaved ice and put in all the flavors. :)

Grandma sent home books for each of the boys (she spoils us!). She bought them at Deseret Book. Luke immediately started reading his, it's called Teancum. Owen got a coin collecting book and Gideon got the picture book of President Monson's field-fire story when he was a boy.
