KC Zoo

We had planned to go to the zoo on the last day of Mom's visit, but once we stepped outside and realized there was NO HUMIDITY we booked it down to the zoo! It was honestly the most perfect day ever!!  I guess Fall is on it's way because the mornings have started to cool off too.

 The otter only woke up to stretch for a minute. Luke was waiting for it to wake up again.

 Into the barn we went to show Grammy all of the froggies!

 Owen is so proud of those frogs! :)

 These are new. I'm happy they got rid of the nasty frog slide and replaced it with these toys. It looks like Luke is whistling in this picture. :) I love that he does that!

 So this daddy gorilla was really trying to get some peace and quiet. He had his foot crossed with the other foot propped up on a rock. His arms over his eyes. It was pretty funny!

  Do you see that sweet baby on it's mom's back?? It's about 3 months old.

 At this point we were all about done.

 So we hopped on the train to get out of Africa!
