Boyce Thompson Arboretum 1.3.22

Keeping with tradition, we took Grandma to Boyce Thompson Arboretum to celebrate her and Grandpa's 46th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely beautiful weather, breathtaking scenery, and we made fantastic memories. The boys found ice on the mountain. We spotted a bobcat. Gideon collected baby "pineapples", moss and rocks. We realized just how small we are compared to the giant trees in the Eucalyptus Forest. Every section had a distinct scent. Australia was spicy, the Chinese garden was sweet. The rose garden was just falling out of season, but imagine how amazing it must smell at it's best! The boys ran around together on their last day of winter break. We shared a lot of laughs and smiles together. These are the good days I want to remember always. Nature has a way of lifting our moods and making us feel alive.
