Here & There

Gideon's 2nd week of swim lessons with Taylor Dilger. He swam the whole length of the pool for the first time!! I'm so proud of him for being brave. He was a little scared, but did it anyway. We practiced saying "I can & I will." 

You know how sometimes dogs scoot their bums on the floor? Yah. She did that & left a streak longer than a ruler. The boys just about died having to clean it up & bathe her outside in the doggy pool. They were shooting her tail with water guns. Oye. I stepped in & cleaned her up. Boys 0. Mom 1. 

The boys are having Summer Piano Camp with Grandma Melly. Last week's theme was ice cream. They each earned a gift card to DQ. Plain vanilla cone for Luke. Strawberry Sundae for Owen. Vanilla cone covered in cotton candy sprinkles for Gideon.

During a bike ride I saw this cabinet outside our neighbor's house with a sign that said Free! So Owen & I brought it home on the dolly. It's perfect to hide all of our art supplies & junk.

Gideon got new shoes! His favorite color is red. When I asked to take a pic this is how he posed. 😁

Yup. Summer break plus COVID quarantine has slackened house rules drastically. 🤣

Week 2 of piano camp is all about pirates! Gid went on a fun treasure hunt. Luke's been playing Pirates of the Carribean all week & getting really good at it! Owen sat this week out.

I'm grateful for my mom's energy & creativity & love of music. 🎼🦜
