Sunset Band Concert

This is Luke's favorite concert of the year. The audience sets up folding chairs and blankets on the junior high courtyard to watch the performance.

Luke had 2 solos tonight! A long one in jazz band that he wrote himself, A Night in Tunisia, and another in 8th grade band, The Headless Horseman. I was so proud of him I almost cried while filming. He's such a good kid.

After the concert we drove over to DQ! Grandma always treats us to ice cream after a concert. We usually see lots of other band families there celebrating too.
