Here & There

Our doorbell rang late one night after the boys were in bed. We go to bed pretty early. The boys were all up in arms thinking some neighbor kids who were up to no good were ding dong ditching us.  "Let's get 'em!" Dave took up his post by the door so he could catch them if they came back. I had a feeling someone had just left a treat, so I opened the door and looked down to see a Boo Bag. We don't over react at all!

So we had to Boo a few friends too! The boys wore masks to hide their identities.

Random things: Owen was talking about most spiritual animal and decided on a hamster.  He also spazzed out one night, laughing like an evil villain maniac. He was devising a plan to earn all the money and buy the bank to get more money and become the class president of the world!

Gid likes to sleep out in the living room. He lays out his sleeping bag and lays out his froggy blanket over the top, smoothing out all the wrinkles. Next to his pillow he puts a flashlight, a few books to read, and his stuffed animal. This is how I found him in the morning.

Gideon got a bday crown in primary. I loved that he was wearing it like a knight, so I snuck a photo.

FHE got physical! Dave was the whirlwind and the boys had to stand strong like trees that were deeply rooted!

I've been helping in cub scouts, so Gideon has been coming with and loving it! We built pinewood derby car displays on this night. Little boy heaven.

40 balloons for 40 years!

Luke and Gideon made Lolly bday cards. I love how creative they are!

Luke likes to watch the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, but he's scared of Harry Potter! He watches from above or the side so he can run when he has too. And we've only ever seen the first 4!
