Last Week

The boys have been using drawing tutorials on ArtForKidsHub.com this week. There are papers & pencils & crayons everywhere! They're great little artists! They inspired me to practice my talents too, so on Sunday Gideon & I painted a lion using Let's Make Art on youtube. I love his creativity!

Pretzel was especially fluffy on this day.

Mom turned 64 this week! We met up for lunch at Joe's Farm Grill in Gilbert for her birthday discount meal! We probably would have eaten there anyway since tube food is so great! She ordered the salmon, one of our favorites. I tried a summer special, the Greek dog. Yes, there's a sausage hotdog under that pile of fries & feta. To die for!

The next day we had piano lessons at her house & the boys gave her a shirt that says:

BEST.

GRANDMA.

EVER.

She loved it, but we love her more!

The boys picked out a dragon fruit at the store after school. Owen peeled it & Gid chopped. It didn't taste good, but it's the most beautiful fruit ever!

Cuties

The youth went on a lake trip on Saturday! My friend sent me these two pics of Luke & his friend Ammon tubing. Luke had fun & got fried! On Sunday you could tell who went on the trip because they were all red. We live in the best area! It's awesome to have the lakes so close & friends with boats. 😆

Monsoon season has been a bust, but it rained for a few minutes & gave us this gorgeous golden sunset.

Friday afternoon dates with this guy are the best! We tried out a place called Caldwell County BBQ. We've been there 4 times in 3 weeks! We're fans!

Owen has been asking for eggless cookie dough for about a month & I finally made it for him as an after school treat. He's also been wearing a bandanna to school the last few days.
