Sedona Summer Day 7: Huckaby Trail, Fiesta Mexicana, & Pool Time

Lolly wanted to do Huckaby Trail in the morning and this time we didn't turn around before it was over! A few years ago we turned around just because we didn't know where we were going. This time we made it down to Oak Creek and were so glad we stuck it out! It's a 5 mile out and back hike.

Owen found a fantastic walking stick. ;) And we found a natural double-decker sofa!

Lolly said she'd give $5 bucks to the first person to dive in. I did it! It was freezing!

Saved this little caterpillar from the creek.

There was more carving to be done. Gid was shivering and caught a little cold after the hike.

The boys got a little silly on the hike out...

We tried a new restaurant for lunch called Fiesta Mexicana. So good and so cute inside!

After a nice rest and some digesting back at the room, we spent the rest of the day at the rec center playing pool and making a sand art project. Then we jumped into the pool for a few hours!

At the end of the night, while the boys watched Forged in Fire, us girls sat by the fire and looked at the stars. Owen joined us later with a box of sparklers. :)
