Sunday Afternoon

Happy Sunday! Just simple art projects and cooking up carrot ginger soup. :)

Always a paper project going on! These boys are so creative. Owen's in the background hanging up spider web decoration.

Aunt Dianne recently posted a picture of rainbow carrots from her garden, so when I saw these at the farmer's market I couldn't pass them up.

Owen working on a sign that says "Go Team" because we watch too many football games and the boys can never decide what team to cheer for. ;)

And he FINALLY has a loose tooth! He's 7.5 and I was getting really worried that he hadn't lost any baby teeth yet. Oh boy is he so excited. :) He just bounces around with a shy/excited smile on his face, feeling so proud of that loose tooth.
I love that Luke plays army guys. It's just so BOY. ;) And he has the greatest imagination, so the battles are epic. He's currently fighting ISIS in this war. That tugs at my heart a bit since that may very well be a possibility as these boys of ours grow up in a turbulent world.
But for now, we stick with the plastic variety. :)
Gidders eating gold fish that he dug out of the pantry and drawing awesome good guys with rad powers. ;)

 And my Dave. :)
