Science City at Union Station

So this was an accident. :) At first we were driving down to the botanic gardens to see the plants and lego sculptures. Then i realized it was an hour away and i just didn't want to drive that long with the boys and Mom. What a waste of time! So, we hopped off that course and found ourselves in downtown KC to show Mom where Crown Center and Union Station were.

We were were there just to walk around, but we ended up being suckered into taking the boys to Science City to play for a few hours. :) How could we not?!?!

 Glow in the dark room!

 Alien Luke. :)

Luke LOVED this NASA spaceship landing simulator. He could have "flown" all day if there hadn't been a line of kids behind him waiting for their turn.

That metal disk spins super fast and you try to get your circle object to go around without flying off.

What a fun place. :) It's our second time here, but it was really fun to see it without all of the maker's faire booths taking up space.

We walked by just in time to see the trains passing by outside.

Even the elevator is clear so that you can see the mechanics of it. You like how Owen is keeping Gideon safe?:)
Luke in a waterfall!... of air :) He said this vaporfall smelled like his albuteral breathing treatments. ha!
The big boys went off with Grammy to show her more fun things while Gid dug up dino bones. It's still his favorite exhibit.

Why do you have to pass through the gift shop to get out of Science City?!?! Cruel cruel marketing minions. :) Grammy let the boys pick out some fun rocks to take home with them. Lucky Ducks.
