Misc from Grammy's Visit

 Grammy brought a tornado maker, so that stayed out and kept the boys busy. First we added food coloring. And then later Mom thought it would be fun to put in glitter.

 Depending on how big the tornado gets the boys were labeling them F1 or F5. There were lots of F3s. :)

 They loved it!  It's still sitting out on the counter and every now and then i'll walk into the room to see it spinning with no one in the room. So they just spin it when they pass by and walk on. :) 

 We had to stop by the dollar store so i could buy things for activity days. Grammy gave each of the boys a dollar to spend. Owen chose this airplane and it kept him super busy! It's fun to watch him fly it!

This is Gideon's dollare store song. :)  "dollar, dollar, dollar-dollar-dollar *pft*"

 He even drew passengers in the plane.

 LOTS of bug catching, as per the usual. I pity the creatures in our yard. They either get mangled or trapped in the dark or crammed into jars like sardines or ... die. All in the name of science! "We're studying them!" ... okay.

 Gideon was so excited to finally catch a grasshopper all by himself! Usually the brothers do it. You're a man now, son! ;)

This didn't make it into the zoo video somehow, but it reminds me of our home video as kids when lolly's eating the banana!!  right?!?!  ha haaaa!!

 As Mom said, you can't have Grammy visit and not bake cookies!! White chocolate chip macadamia. I think Owen was out flying his airplane when this was going on.

We had stopped by the library the day before and so there were stacks of books to be read.

 Dave and I, wait for it... WENT - ON - A - D.A.T.E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Pizzaria Locale is ridiculous!! Sooooo, good! 

 Oh my heck, it was so nice to be out with Dave. Just Dave. My Dave. ;) 

 We drove by this Giralda Tower. It's a replica of the one in Spain. This was in a SUPER ritzy part of KC that i didn't know existed. It's right next to the art museum I've been wanting to visit too. Anyway, after that we went to see the latest Mission Impossible, and it starts out stupid, but then I really started to like it. Especially the motorcycle chase. :) 

 Mom gave the boys these spinny tops with markers at the bottom. Way fun!

  And the library visit I mentioned. We had a little 2nd breakfast snack at the cafe and ate outside because it was sooooooo nice out! NO HUMIDITY!!!  what?!  :)

  She read the boys a story and everything. Melly Poppins I tell you. :)
