Sprinkler in the Front Yard
Dave mowed the lawn and we've had a couple days without rain (what?!) so our lawn was getting a bit parched. Perfect!! It was reeeeeeeeeally hot this day. 100+ with the humidity. We pretty much hid inside, so this was a great way to get us outside and refill our vitamin D tanks!
Owen was collecting water from the sprinkler to fill up another bucket for Gideon to stand in and cool off. :)
Mission accomplished.
Luke giving it a go.
It was riveting.
Then we came inside and Gideon demolished a juicy nectarine!
Can you see it all over his face?! I think he got more juice on his face and clothes than into his mouth. :)
I'm too lazy to drag these up where they belong with the other sprinkler pictures. sooooo...
We love the sprinkler! There are a couple public pools out here. Both are a bit of a drive. The others are hidden in neighborhoods that pay an HOA or something I guess. So every now and then we'll get invited over to play in someone else's pool. But mostly we do the sprinkler thing and it does the trick. That and otter pops. :)

Mission accomplished.
Luke used the bucket as a shield. :)
Then they went over to check out Owen's 'water tornado' making skills. I guess he was the best at making them and had a certain technique.Luke giving it a go.
