Lots of random pictures! Luke has been wanting to sleep in the basement all summer. I finally gave in and sacrificed my old lady joints and back and neck to the cause. :) Gideon prefers his comfy bed, so it was just Luke & Owen. They were so excited and it was not the greatest night sleep, but Luke finally got his wish to sleep in our basement fort. (There are still sheets nailed to the ceiling)
Gideon helped put the roof on the birdhouses! Or the shingles I should say. Peanut butter and birdseed. The birds went NUTS!
It was fun to watch all of the different kinds. A bluebird and robins, but mostly cute little brown & yellow finches. We were hoping for a cardinal that we see in the neighbors tree sometimes, but we'll have to keep watching for him.
On our way home from Far West on Sunday we saw signs for Watkins Mill. We drove around in there a little bit and then stopped off at this lake to stretch our legs a little. There's a good bike trail we want to come back for later.

I found some drawing tutorials for kids on YouTube for each of the boys to try out. Owen did a monster and Luke did batman and Gideon did a butterfly AND a fish AND a puppy. :)
Luke and Gid were playing some really funny music and dancing around, but by the time I came out with the camera they were sort of done.
